The therapist will work the "reflex points" with their fingers or designated tools to bring these areas back to balance, therefore aiding the body to work as well as it can. Many clients describe a sense of relaxation and increased energy following their session. In addition, specific studies indicate that reflexology may reduce pain and anxiety.
